Hello, I'm Emilie Benedikt!

I'm a storyboard artist in my final year at UWE Bristol currently enrolled in the BA (Hons) Animation course, where I am specializing in storyboarding and visual development.​

​

​I grew up in the Czech Republic and then in Switzerland in the early 2010s, which has allowed me to speak German, Czech and English.

 

After graduating high school in Prague, I moved to Bristol to study animation in September 2023, where I specialized in storyboarding and visual development.​​

​

​During my studies, I worked as a storyboard artist on a diverse range of projects and short films ranging from pre-school to film noir.

 

As part of my workflow, I utilize Autodesk Maya to model 3D reference environments to create immersive character-driven storyboards.

​Currently, I am developing two short animatics as part of my final university project, where I am on track to graduate with First Class Honors in July 2026. ​

​

​At weekends, I like to play the piano and read fantasy books with my two ragdoll cats Biscoff and Reeses.

​

​I am open to freelance storyboard and visual development work from August 2026.​
